Former Goldman Sachs Manager Joins Citi In Singapore For India-Focused Role

Sumit Puri, a former executive director at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, has been appointed to the global Indian team of in Singapore, this publication can confirm.

His move to Citigroup represents a return to the US-headquartered business. He worked at Goldman from March 2011; at Citi, he had worked there from 2008 for three years, according to his Linkedin profile.

A spokesperson for Citi Private Bank declined to comment on the matter when contacted by this publication.

Puri is a graduate of the Fore School of Management.
